Home Infusion Therapy

At Ohio Valley Infusion, our goal is nothing less than to be your best choice for home infusion care.  Whether for a one-time treatment or ongoing intravenous therapy, Ohio Valley Infusion services can help manage your acute and chronic illnesses while improving your quality of life.  We want every patient to receive the same level of care and comfort we would provide to our own families.

We understand that the infusion process can be unfamiliar and even daunting to patients and their families.  So, from the moment you schedule an initial visit, Ohio Valley Infusion team approaches your situation with knowledge and compassion; listening to your situation closely and creating a comprehensive plan of care.

We believe that the way you begin a relationship has a profound impact on the strength of that relationship.  So our nurses don’t just show up on a patient’s doorstep: they are introduced to the patient and oriented to that home setting by one of our core team members.

We believe that a patient who is receiving care in his or her own home benefits greatly from developing a relationship with the nurse they see.  So unlike other agencies who may send a different nurse to a home for each visit, we cultivate a continuity of care, where each patient has one primary nurse they see regularly.

Every Ohio Valley Infusion practitioner maintains an expert knowledge of all infusions we deliver, understanding every aspect of dosing, administration, reporting, and follow up care.  We have 21+ years of pediatric experience with 11+ years of infusion experience with pediatrics and adults.  As part of the hiring process, we’re careful to make sure that each infusionist on our staff has the necessary skills, and that those skills are up to date.  We then supplement that with in-house training to reinforce best practices and share new approaches.

Finally, patient care is our top priority.  Our expert professionals will provide support and guidance throughout your customized infusion therapy.  Ohio Valley Infusions provide high quality personal care that patients and healthcare providers deserve and expect for infusion therapy treatment.
